So I feel like chunky sneakers are a trend that is here to stay. And sure, it’s not for everyone but I’m personally here for it! At first I just knew I loved the look of a chunky sneaker but I didn’t know realistically how often I would wear them, so I just spent $60 on a pair and thought–if I don’t wear them a ton, not a big deal! Well, I actually wear mine quite a bit and today I wanted to share several ways how you can style them. They are a lot more versatile than you may think! If you want to snag the pair I have you can find them here (size up a half size). Also, dress above fits TTS overall but if you have a larger chest I would size up! I am a 34C and the small fit perfectly. (Some outfits below aren’t linkable but I will link what pieces I can!)
Joggers. Pairing them with a pair of joggers and a fitted or loose crop tee gives me all the athleisure vibes.
Dresses. T-shirt dress or more fitted dress? Either work. For a t-shirt dress, a crossbody fanny pack would also make for a cute look.
Skirt. Fitted mini skirts, or skirts like this one are a super cute way to style them also.
Leggings. If you pair with leggings, I suggest picking a pair that has more of an “athleisure” vibe vs something you’d only wear to the gym. The key here is picking a fabric and color/pattern that is more casual vs. something that you would just wear to the gym. I love a monochromatic look with this because the overall vibe feels a little more chic and like a styled outfit vs. something you’d throw on to workout in.
Biker Shorts. Another sporty-chic coming you way. I loved pairing them with this pair of faux leather biker shorts. Again, picking fabrics and colors in athletic/athleisure pieces that don’t look like you’d wear it only to the gym is key IMO.
Hope this gives you some inspo! Tag me in your stories on how you’re styling your sneakers! xxC
