So last weekend Stephen and I visited Denver, CO and had the best trip! I wanted to fill you in on everything we did so if you’re planning a trip you have an idea of where to stay, where to eat, and some things to do!
Where To Stay
We stayed at the Halcyon which is a newer luxury hotel located in Cherry Creek. Honestly a 12/10 stay. The hotel itself is gorgeous – they partnered with Restoration Hardware so you know their aesthetic is going to be incredible. The rooms are designed to make you feel like you’re at your home away from home – comfortable and cozy but still elevated. They also had so many nice touches like complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, wine and Champagne available everyday and they had water bottles and refillable stations by every elevator to make sure you stayed hydrated. The other main thing I want to mention is the they are located in the heart of Cherry Creek which ended up being our favorite area of Denver. If you’re from Raleigh, think of Cherry Creek as a much larger, more modern North Hills. It’s an outdoor shopping district with a ton of restaurants, bars and shops – from places like CB2 to more boutique stores. So it was really convenient just to walk from Halcyon to breakfast or dinner, and Halcyon had some great restaurants on site too. Overall, highly recommend!
