I shared this in a reel last week but it was so popular that I figured it deserved a permanent spot on the blog. It’s the easiest meal to throw together and tastes delicious – plus, it’s healthy too. Win-win-win. I’ll post the “recipe” below but you can swap out any toppings based on your liking.
What You’ll Need:
-Brown Rice
-Salmon (I buy the BBQ cut filets from TJs) + Soyaki Sauce (also from Tjs)
-Sesame seeds (optional)
-Avocado
-Carrots
-Cucumber
*You can use any sauce you want for the salmon (store-bought or make your own) and other toppings that would be great to incorporate would be edamame, mango, red onion, jalapeno, etc. Also if you’re not a big fan of salmon, you could substitute it with shrimp.
How To Make:
First, cut the skin off the salmon and dice it up into cubes. Then toss salmon in the sauce of choice and sesame seeds. Throw into the air fryer at 400 for about 10 minutes and toss about halfway through (you can also double check if it’s done with a meat thermometer. I like to cook my salmon to 140 degrees). While the salmon is in the air fryer, make the brown rice and prep the other toppings. Then just throw everything into the bowl and you’re all set. Enjoy! xx
