Green Protein (powder-less) Pancakes

Protein Pancakes

Protein Pancakes

Pancakes are always a good idea, let’s be real. But they are even better when they are healthy and guilt free! And not to mention the color green. I got this recipe from instagram from one of my fellow bikini body guide girl’s, and they were super yummy!

While I’d devour these anytime, I love eating them pre or post workout since they are packed with protein. They take all but 10 minutes to make too! Just mix the following ingredients in a blender and then cook the batter like regular pancakes (makes about 14 small pancakes):

1/2 cup whole oats
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
4 egg whites
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp honey or agave nectar
A handful of spinach

I then just melted peanut butter and cocoa almond butter together and drizzled it on top! And of course added some fresh fruit. Hope you guys find them delicious as I do!!

Hi there! I was wondering if this counts as one servings? Do you eat the entire batch? Thank you!

Hey Rebekah, so I usually make the entire recipe and keep half of it in the fridge for the next day! If I’m really hungry though, I will eat the whole recipe for one meal. The entire recipe is about 300 calories (32C/3F/34P). Hope this helps! xx
