I’ve always been one to gravitate towards darker colors (ahem, black). However, this spring I’ve been trying to branch out and opt for some lighter colors. I had the opportunity to partner with Kohls and put together some spring outfits and so I tried to go out of my comfort zone and pick some pieces that are a little brighter and embody spring a little more so. And honestly I have to say–I think I’m turning a new leaf! I loved the pieces I found at Kohl’s, and the colors are getting me in the mood for these spring days!

I paired both looks with white jeans because that’s been my new obsession this season 😉 I’ve been really into white denim to say the least. It’s the perfect transitional piece when it’s not quite warm enough for shorts but you still want to look like you’re dressing for the season. These jeans were from the Lauren Conrad collection that Kohls carries, in addition to the this gorgeous coral colored top. When I first saw this top I was like I think that’s a little too much color for me, but I went against my judgment and gave it a try. Guys, I LOVE this color! It’s so fun and vibrant and it’s the perfect pop of color against the white jeans. It’s also very lightweight so again, perfect for the transition into spring and summer.

I paired the whole outfit with some simple white sneakers. You’ll see in the next look that I opted for a more casual top so I wanted shoes that would go with each look. This purse is also from Lauren Conrad’s collection that Kohl’s carries and the design reminds me of a Chloe bag but at a much more affordable price point. It’s the perfect little black crossbody! I also loved these gold hoops! I paired them with both outfits and they were a great staple. I feel like you can never go wrong with hoop earrings–they are classic but make enough of a statement. These gold ones have already been making regular appearances into my wardrobe.

For this second look I traded in the button down for a more casual tee–you all know I love my stripes! This is a Levi’s tee which was super comfortable and had a great fit to it. I typically wear a small but got this tee in a XS and it fit perfectly. I loved the light pink stripes paired with the rest of the white!

Did you guys have a favorite piece or a favorite designer from Kohls? They have so many good options! They carry so many different brands from clothing, shoes, and accessories, to makeup, home decor, etc. Also, their prices are amazing! Everything is at a reasonable price point to start but then they always have sales on top of that which is incredible. You can get so many looks for an amazing price!
