If you follow along on IG, you know that my style is pretty simple and basic! I almost always am either in athleisure/athletic wear, or in pretty simple outfits (ie. jeans and a tee). In general, my style is pretty simple and I like to have a lot of items that I can mix and match. I don’t want to buy something that I’ll wear once, and then have it sit in my closet for months until I feel like I can wear it again. I find that I’m more comfortable in simple outfits, plus I can re-wear a white tee a week later and no one is like “Hey, you were just wearing that last week!” Ya know?

Here are some of my favorite places to shop for my everyday wear/basics!

Free People This may surprise you, but they actually have a bunch of basic tees and tanks that are priced reasonably and are great to throw on with jeans or shorts. I also love their FP movement line for more everyday athleisure pieces.

Abercrombie If you followed along during out trip to Italy you know that soooo many of my items came from here! Abercrombie has really stepped up their game. Their jeans fit great, their tanks and tees are really cute and most of their stuff is priced well and they have good sales.

Voda Boutique This a boutique local to Raleigh that I’ve started shopping at more frequently and found some really cute items that are great basics, like this bodysuit and this tank (btw–you can use CLAIRE10 for a discount on their site). They definitely have trendier items too, but I like how their basics are a little more “boutique-y” and custom.  It’s a good stop to get it all.

American Eagle I buy a ton of my jeans and tanks here. Again, reasonably priced, and love that their jeans come in tall lengths too. Their mom jean is a personal favorite of mine and I highly recommend adding it to your closet immediately!

H&M When I’m looking for items that are super inexpensive but decent quality–H&M is my go-to. Like if I want a simple cropped tee or tank to wear to the gym, or a plain black cropped tee, this is my go-to spot!

Express I feel like I’ve been shopping here for years because I have always had really good luck with their jeans! They carry short, regular, and tall lengths and fit like a glove, and typically have pretty good denim sales. I also like some of their dressier tanks that I pair with jeans (or you could pair with business casual).
