Hey guys! So last week I broke down my beauty routine schedule— so everything I do from botox, lashes, manicures, etc. and how often I do them. Today I wanted to break down what I would personally prioritize if I had to pick the beauty routines that were non-negotiables! Of course this is different for everyone but these would be the beauty routines I couldn’t live without! Okay that’s dramatic but you know what I’m saying 😉
My Top 3 To Prioritize
Self-tanner – Okay, this is the least expensive out of all the beauty maintenance but it’s probably the most impactful. I literally feel like an entire different person when I’m tan! Like, if I literally had to pick 1 thing from my ENTIRE beauty list, this would be it!
Haircut & color – This one kind of goes without saying because your haircut and color can make such a huge impact on your confidence level and it’s something that people see everyday. It’s not like a pedicure where you can hide your feet LOL. It’s not something that doesn’t usually require a ton of upkeep but it definitely makes difference in your day to day when you have a cut and color that makes you feel good 🙂
Botox – Botox (and then lip filler) is next on my list of must haves. Botox (or dysport–really anything to get rid of your wrinkles lol) just makes your skin look 10x better with and without makeup.
The Next 3 I Would Prioritize
Manicures – I just felt more put together when I have a manicure, plain and simple! Not a necessity like the top 3 but definitely something I will maintain if it’s in the budget.
Microblading – So I debated adding this one because you can get your brows threaded and fill them in buuut not everyone knows how to do that well. I mean, I thought my brows were good and then I got them microbladed and was like holy sh*t they look so much better. So needless to say I am so glad that I have my eyebrows microbladed (I have powder brows btw). Good eyebrows are everything and someone who knows how to microblade (properly) can totally change the look of your face for the better. But on top of that, it makes getting ready so easy. You don’t need to spend anytime filling in your brows which is such a time saver. And yes, it’s a little expensive up front but you only have to get them touched up yearly so definitely low maintenance to keep up with overall.
Lash Lift & Tint – I really have loved getting this the last few months. It’s much less expensive than fake lashes, much less maintenance, and it really does make a difference. You look more awake (and like your wearing light mascara) and it makes even more of a dramatic difference when you actually put on mascara. So not 100% necessarily but definitely pretty cost effective for a little lash boost!
So don’t get me wrong, everything I originally put in the beauty maintenance list is 100% worth the money in my opinion. I mean, they all work together …it takes a village! But I also understand that sh*t gets expensive and sometimes you want the most bang for your buck. These are the things that I feel like are the most impactful in making me feel the most confident. Maybe you don’t care about fake eyelashes but you love a good manicure. To each their own! What would be in your top beauty routine list if you had to choose?
