Hair Products + Tools I Use On A Regular Basis

The other day I posted a before and after photo of my hair (post sweaty workout session – you can see the photo at the end of this post) and a lot of you seemed interested in the products and process. While I will give a tutorial over reels, I figured I’d share the hair products and tools I use on a regular basis as well. I’ve listed them all below, how often I use them, etc. and you can shop all of the items here.

Bondi Boost HG Shampoo & Conditioner I’ve been using Bondi Boost products for the last couple of years and have loved them. I typically use the HG products (hair growth) but I also love their thickening shampoo and conditioner (definitely recommend if you have finer hair). They use sustainable packaging and all their products are made from clean ingredients and are vegan and cruelty-free. I typically shampoo & condition my hair once a week.

Moroccan Oil I’ve been using Moroccan Oil products for about a decade now. After I get out of the shower and my hair is still damp, I do 3-4 pumps of Moroccan Oil and work it through (with my hands) from the roots to the ends. I feel like it helps with overall hydration/nourishment, shine, reducing frizz, and acts as a detangler as well. Ps. If you have finer hair, I recommend using their “light” version!

Moroccan Oil Hair Spray I’ve tried a lot of hair sprays, and this continues to be one that I always go back to. I get the medium hold which still gives my hair flexibility but will keep my waves intact for several days without touch-ups. It also smells great so that doesn’t hurt either!

Bondi Boost Blowout Brush If you know, you know. I used to hate styling my hair straight – I could never get it to have enough volume and/or for it to look sleek/silky enough. Enter Bondi Boost’s Blowout Brush. Not only does this cut down a ton on drying and styling time but I feel like it looks like I get a professional blowout after using it (see photo above).

GHD Flat Iron (1”) This is the only brand of flat iron I’ve owned for also the last decade lol. The first one I had died about 5 years ago and I ordered the exact same model that I’ve had since. I don’t use it to straighten my hair (I use the blowout brush for that) but I use this flat iron to curl my hair. When using the flat iron, the curls/waves last so much longer than with a curling rod or iron (for me at least). Even when I get my hair professionally done and it’s curled with a curling iron, my waves last days longer when I use the flat iron. I have a tutorial on how I get my waves with the flat iron here.

IGK First Class Dry Shampoo Let’s just say this dry shampoo can clean up an oil spill. My good friend introduced it to me earlier this year and I feel like the hype around it is real. It doesn’t leave a grey or white residue and as you can see in the photo below, using that and the blowout brush made my hair look like it just had a fresh wash and blow dry.

does one of your girlfriends need to hear this? Share away…
