Now that we’re in November, I typically think “cold” weather, but here in NC and in many other cities, we still have those afternoons that are on the warmer side – we’re definitely not fully bundling up yet! So today I wanted to share three neutral looks to try this fall. I had the opportunity to pick out several pieces from Revolve for this post, and I tried to pick three looks that were all a different style/vibe but also work cohesively with each other and other items I already had in my closet.
Outfit Inspo 1 – Sweater Dress With A Blazer
In my opinion, dresses always make styling an outfit easier because it’s just one base piece you have to worry about – then you can add shoes, a jacket, and other accessories to pull everything together. A black sweater dress like the Surrey Sweater Dress (size medium) is a great option. I paired it with the Morena Blazer in dark chocolate (size small). More on this blazer in a minute because it has been a very popular item in my lineup recently! This dress also comes in an ivory color.
Outfit Inspo 2 – Jeans, Cropped Top, and Blazer
Another easy outfit combination to throw together – especially if you want to easily go from day to night. During the day you can do jeans, a more “work appropriate” top (I love a good fitted turtleneck) with a blazer and a flat or sneaker. Then at night, you can easily swap out the top and the shoe like above.
The Morena Blazer has such a great fit overall – I love that it’s slightly oversized but still fitted enough that it gives you a nice shape and makes your outfit look instantly more pulled together. It comes in several colors too which are all beautiful. As far as a the jeans go, I have always been a fan of GRLFRND denim and I still get compliments on a pair I bought from them years ago (also from Revolve). I just love the overall fit of their denim and the hems on so many of their pairs just level up the entire look. This pair is the Harlow High Rise Boot Slit (sized up one to a 29). And this is the Ramona Bustier top which comes in six colors but you can’t go wrong with black (per usual). I also love the trim detail – just a fun addition to dress up any outfit when going out for the evening.
Outfit Inspo 3 – Cardigan Sweater Dress
Last but not least we have another sweater dress moment. This is the Norina Cardigan Dress that also comes in a gorgeous cream color. I loved the cardigan style on this one and the gold details. And bonus points – it’s still long enough for us tall girls (I’m 5’9″ for reference). A super comfortable outfit that still feels very chic and put together which we love. I’m wearing a size small for reference.
