Hey guys! So today’s blog post is a little different than what I normally do but thought why not mix it up? I ordered a bunch of items from Abercrombie recently so thought I would do a review of my haul on here and let you know what I’d keep vs. return and why. (Let me know on here or on this IG post what you think of these types of posts!)
I will say though, that Abercrombie almost always gets it right when it comes to overall style, fit and price. I’ve had some recent hauls from other brands where I ended up sending back 90% of the items but Abercrombie’s items are usually spot on! But okay, onto the outfits:
OUTFIT 1 – Long-Sleeve Seamless Ribbed Crew Top – Size Small
Would keep. It’s a great basic, love the cut of this crop (not too short, not too long), love that is has the ribbed detailing and it’s stretchy. Fits TTS.
OUTFIT 2 – Ribbed Scuba Bodysuit – Size Small
Would keep. Another great basic for spring/summer. Thicker, ribbed material and not see through. Easy to dress up (like with blazer below) or dress down. Fits TTS.
OUTFIT 3 – Single-Breasted Blazer – Size Small
Would return. I personally love the look of the blazer and I feel like from the outside the fit looks great (doesn’t flare out in the back) but it’s a little too tight on my shoulders. I also think a great blazer is worth the money, but I don’t know how much I would personally wear this on a regular basis so it’s also probably not worth the investment (for me!). Consider sizing up 1.
OUTFIT 4 – Puff Sleeve Hoodie & Cloud Paperbag Shorts– Size Small in both
Would Keep. This lounge set is super soft (softer than a standard sweatshirt material) and I love the overall fit. The shorts hit at a great spot on the waist and are also long enough so your a** isn’t hanging out lol. Comes in a few colors too! Fit TTS.
OUTFIT 5- Longsleeve Boyfriend Graphic Tee & Sunday Shorts – Size small in both
Would Keep. Even though I’ve been leaning away from graphic tees lately, I like the more clean/simple take on this one. I also feel like for spring it’s nice to have some lighter, long sleeve options to throw on. For the shorts, I prefer the fit of the cloud paperbag (the tie-dye) ones slightly more but I still think these have an overall good fit and length to them. Fit TTS.
OUTFIT 6 – Tunic Hoodie -Size Small
Would keep. Super soft lining and just really like the fit of this overall sweatshirt. It’s something I would wear a ton (hello cozy basics) but I love the detailing on the sleeves, the neck, and the hoodie. Think it looks cute both tucked in with shorts or untucked (with leggings too). Fits TTS.
OUTFIT 7 – Waffle Henley Cami & Waffle Lounge Wide Leg Pants – Size small in both
Would return. Don’t get me wrong, this outfit is super comfortable and really cute! But if we’re being particular here, I’d return both of these pieces. I love how the pants look and fit but I’m not crazy about the cut/style of tank top on me. I don’t know what it is about it but I just didn’t put it on and feel amazing. And in this case, I’d want to wear the pants as part of a matching set so I’d just end up returning both! Fit TTS.
OUTFIT 8 – Cinched Front Cropped Cami & Tailored Wide Leg Pants – Size Medium in top & Small long in pants
Would return pants, keep the top. Okay so I really love the vibe of this outfit but the pants are just a little too tight around the waist. I’m usually a small/28 in pants and while I can button these they probably wouldn’t be super comfortable after several hours haha. The top fits really great though. I sized up to medium, and the back is stretchy and the straps are adjustable so it’s really comfortable for what looks like more of a fitted and structured tank. I think this would be a great neutral to add to the closet for spring and summer! Size up 1 in top (if bigger chest) and consider sizing up 1 in pants.
